Treasured Textiles

In light of the national lockdown, we have temporarily paused Hospice Day Service.

Thank you for your continued support – stay safe.

This group is completely free of charge and is for bereaved family members and carers and aims to enable them to work creatively with personal and sentimental materials. It provides an opportunity to create unique pieces and can help to process loss and grief. The group enables individuals to use fabrics creatively to design special projects.

This group provides space to work with materials on your own personal project. This could include repurposing a loved one's clothes into a new item such as a pillow case, quilt, stuffed toy or even another item of clothing, it's completely up to you! You do not have to be creative or skilledto join this group as we have a specialist team on hand to help you. Being part of a group can provide a great supportive environment to express yourself creatively which can help to cope with difficult emotions.

This group takes place on alternate Wednesday evenings from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Hospice Day Service.
