What's on offer at Living Well?

We currently have a varied timetable of activities that you can get involved with. These include virtual sessions which can be online if you prefer or are unable to attend the Hospice in person.

Music Therapy

Music therapy is a clinical practice that offers a safe space where patients and therapist can use music to explore thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It’s designed to improve overall wellbeing and quality of life.

Through music, we find many ways to help patients with therapeutic goals, legacy work and memory projects.

Complementary Therapies

There is an increasing evidence base for the role of complementary therapies in helping to promote relaxation and wellbeing; ease anxiety, physical pain and distress as well as helping to improve self-confidence.

Man Shed

Are you interested in joining a social group for men?

We run a group fortnightly on a Wednesday from 1-3pm held at the hospice. All men are welcome whether they are a patient, a relative or friend of a patient or have been bereaved.

It is a space to interact with other men with no pressure to be or do anything in particular.

The time can be used to meet other people, take part in activities and games or simply just enjoy tea and cake.
