Events in aid of the Hospice

Tonbridge Parish Church

You are warmly invited to join Tonbridge Parish Church who has a special connection with the Hospice in the Weald.  The Revd Penny Stephens, Chaplain at the Hospice, will take part in this service, together with Glen Goodall, a member of our fellowship and an Ambassador for the Hospice.  The theme of the reflection at this service will be “His light shines in our hearts”, there will be music to enjoy and, importantly, a time of reflection in memory of loved ones no longer with us.  All are most welcome to join us, virtually or in person (restrictions permitting) for this special time together, Link to our Youtube page click here.  Updated information available here.




Groombridge Doorstep Carols

Join the residents of Groombridge for carols with a difference this Christmas. At 6pm on Christmas Eve venture out on to your door steps to hear the church belles ring  6 times. After the last chime join your neighbours in singing ‘Hark the Herald Angel’s sing’  be sure to bring a torch or candle to help light up the village.

  • 50p per wax melt

Philpots Allotments Christmas Tree Market

27th November - 23rd December, every day from 9:00am to 5:00pm 

Philpots Lane are holding their annual Christmas Tree Market, as well as a pop-up Christmas Market with local businesses Chic et Tra La La and Adorn and Guild, selling a variety of beautiful gifts, mistletoe, ivy berries and of course Christmas trees. Kent's famous local tiger sculpture, will also be at the Allotments and ready to be cuddled! For every tree sold, a donation will kindly be made to Hospice in the Weald.
