Patients may consider a referral to Cottage Hospice in Five Ashes, for their End of Life care. Cottage Hospice enables families, however they are defined, to care for their loved ones in the last weeks or days of life. The model of care is the first of its kind and intends to empower caregivers to deliver care to their loved ones in a safe and supportive environment to ensure a dignified death.
Our 15 room Ward in Pembury maybe a service you choose to access. Patients referred to the In-Patient Ward can be admitted for short-stay procedures, such as blood transfusions and severe symptom control that cannot be managed in the community, if appropriate, as well as End of Life care admissions for their last days.
We also provide support for patients in care homes across our notional catchment area. If you or your loved one would benefit from Hospice support in a care home, please contact us.
