Patient and Visitor Information
Visitors are always welcome at the Hospice in Pembury. In fact, our patients, their families, carers and sometimes just those who happen to be in the area often pop in for a drink and a slice of cake in our coffee shop or to explore our beautiful gardens and Hospice Labyrinth. You will always be greeted in reception by our welcome team.
We have a large carpark to the front of the building which is free of charge.
If you are visiting someone on the In-Patient Ward, unlike a hospital, you are welcome to visit any time day or night. If visitors arrive when the reception is closed there is a night time side entrance (to the right of the main reception entrance). On ringing the bell on the wall, a member of staff will answer as soon as possible.
There are bedrooms at the Hospice for a family member, friend or carer to stay overnight if you wish them to. Children of all ages and well behaved pets are all welcome to visit, although please let the staff know your plans.
Tea, coffee and light snacks are always available with a refreshment bar provided at reception/lounge area at the entrance to the Unit.
Our main reception is open:
Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 8.30pm
Saturday: 9.30am – 4.30pm
Sunday: 9.30am – 6.30pm
