Our Statement following the death of Her Majesty, The Queen

QEII 1 sm

It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of Her Majesty, The Queen. On behalf of the team at Hospice in the Weald, we send our sincere condolences to The Royal Family at this very sad time. Our thoughts are with The Royal Family and everyone affected by this news.

Her Majesty, The Queen has been a part of people’s lives in the UK as a role model and longstanding public figure. It is common to experience feelings of grief after the death of a public figure despite not holding a personal relationship with them, and we realise that many of you may be affected by the news of Her Majesty’s death. We have written guidance about processing the death of a loved one, which contains information about coping with bereavement, you may find this useful or a source of comfort at this time.
