Fundraise & Get Involved

We need to raise over £8 million every year to provide outstanding Hospice care to the local community. To get involved with our fundraising activities, design your own, or make a donation, use the information on this page.

We give you the time to care

We’re on the lookout for more nurses to join our team, and we’ve put our heads together to come up with 10 reasons (although there are lots more) why you should join us.

We understand that in order to ensure patients and their loved ones experience great Hospice Care, we need great nurses to deliver that care and support. Sometimes time can play a big factor in the care and support you can deliver as a nurse. We believe in giving you the time to care. The time to do your job. The time to make a real difference.

  • You get time to care. If you need to spend an extra 5 minutes or 50 minutes with a patient, the time is there.
  • We’ve got fantastic development opportunities waiting for you, with career progression and professional development ready at the click of a button.
  • You get a better work-life balance, including part time and flexible working.
  • You can transfer your NHS pension and continue to receive employer contributions.
  • We offer competitive salaries.
  • Make your money go further with free parking, removing the stress and hassle of parking fees.
  • Your work will be incredibly rewarding. Spend time with patients and their loved ones at a time that it really matters most.
  • You’ll be changing the lives of local families, helping them to celebrate life, and make the most of the time they have together, looking after the whole family, not just the patient’s medical needs.
  • Joining us, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive, and welcoming team – no two days are the same, but the team will always be there with open arms.
  • Hospice nursing is Nursing As It Should Be. If you like the sound of any of these reasons to join our team, apply today!
