“Neil joined the Crowborough Players in 2013 and surprised everyone by auditioning for the Dame. He got the role and turned out to be outstanding. He fell in love with performing and the wonderful panto family. He went on to play The Dame several times and was brilliant. When he was diagnosed with cancer Hospice in the Weald offered him so much help and support. Their nurses were wonderfully kind to him and our family, helping relieve some of the worry and fear. They offered advice, helped with prescriptions, equipment and did so much more to help. Neil and I really enjoyed their art classes too. Towards the end, the Hospice Outreach Service team helped us all so much. The panto people are taking part in fancy dress as a bit of fun and to drum up extra interest and funds for the Hospice.”
