Patients enjoy music in the Hospice gardens

Supporter Music in the Garden

Lucy and her mum have been longstanding supporters of the Hospice, holding a fundraising concert annually to raise funds. With the challenges of COVID-19 meaning the usual fundraising concert would not be possible, Lucy decided to use her skills to support the Hospice in different ways instead.

She has visited the Hospice to perform for patients and visitors on the In-Patient Ward, performing a range of pieces on her flute in the beautiful Hospice gardens. Lucy explains:

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Hospice and playing my flute for the staff, residents and visitors. The garden is such a beautiful, peaceful space and ideal for an impromptu concert in the sunshine. After such a tough year I think everyone needs music in their lives”.

Lucy is also planning to hold a concert online, which supporters will be able to tune into.

Thank you, Lucy for your beautiful performance, and support.
