Aurora and Bertie's 2000km Challenge

Aurora and Bertie

Aurora & Bertie are 2 young amazing supporters who have challenged themselves to run, walk, cycle and row 2000km in memory of Aurora’s Grandad. Aurora’s Grandad was under the care of Hospice in the Weald during his final months.

As the girls being so close during lockdown, they decided that they wanted to do something to support the Hospice, so they got their heads together and decided on the 2000km challenge. They started their journey on the 5th February and are aiming to go 7.5km each day to reach the total and finishing on 20th June.

So, they set themselves up with a JustGiving page and set a target of £3000 to reach and they both registered on Strava to track their progress. So far the girls have walked, ran, cycled & rowed just over 340km in just over 2 weeks! What a great achievement and well on their way to reach the 2000km by 20th June.

If you would like to help Aurora & Bertie to reach their target, please visit their JustGiving page:
