Creative Ways to Fundraise at Work

Organising a fundraising event at work is a fun and effective way to support Hospice in the Weald. Whether it’s a cake sale, clothes swap, or team challenge, workplace fundraising not only raises vital funds for us but it lifts spirits, strengthens team bonds and brings a real sense of purpose to the working week.

Here are a few easy ideas to get you started:

  • Coffee Morning or Charity Breakfast: Start the day with hot drinks and tasty treats. Invite your team to catch up over breakfast in exchange for a donation.
  • Pub Quiz or Golf Day: Spark some friendly competition and bring your colleagues together for a good cause.
  • Dress Down or Themed Day: Pick a theme like a 90s Day or Pyjama Day and ask for donations to take part. It’s a great way to boost morale and raise money.
  • Pet Photo Contest: Invite staff to share their cutest or funniest pet photos. Everyone can vote with a £2 donation per vote.
  • Bake Off Challenge: Let your team show off their baking skills. Sell slices or vote for the best bake with donations. Delicious and impactful.
  • Step Challenge: Form teams and compete to walk the most steps over a week or month. Collect entry donations and fundraise via platforms like JustGiving.

To make it easy, we can supply everything you need to get started including collection pots and buckets, Hospice in the Weald banners, branded t-shirts, running vests, Hospice in the Weald leaflets and donation envelopes.
