🌸 Experience a stunning display of steel daisies at Chartwell from 2nd – 17th May 🌸

Discover a Meadow of Memories at Chartwell, set against the backdrop of the family home of Winston Churchill. Daisies have long been linked with enduring love. They return each spring, pushing through after winter has passed, reminding us that love and memory continue even after loss.

Immerse yourself in these tranquil settings and remember those you love. Immerse yourself in the Meadow of Memories, a gentle meaningful way to celebrate the lives of your loved ones. A place to pause, reflect and remember.

Open 10am-5pm each day

Hillside location with steps, unsuitable for mobility scooters. Blue Badge parking and drop-off available. Accessible toilets. Wheelchair accessible virtual house tour. Wheelchair available on first floor of house.

Chartwell Highlights Tour: Chartwell 60 – Chartwell opened to the public in the summer of 1966. Join a special new tour to celebrate the National Trust’s 60th anniversary of welcoming everyone to the Churchills’ family home.

Gathering at Chartwell

Join us for a special Remembrance Gathering at Chartwell on Sunday 17th May, 5pm.

Marking the final day of Meadow of Memories this is an opportunity to join together, pause, reflect and celebrate your loved ones. The event will feature live music, poignant poetry and create a peaceful and comforting space.

  • Free access to the garden, with RSVP, from 3pm
  • Please bring picnic blankets or folding chairs – no seating will be provided
  • Visit the Landemare Cafe for drinks, snacks and cakes
  • Collect your dedicated daisy
