What is Hospice Run?

Hospice Run is our much-loved closed-road running event, bringing together thousands of runners, volunteers, supporters and spectators for an unforgettable day of achievement, community spirit and fundraising.

Whether you’re taking on your first 5k, aiming for a new personal best over 10k, or challenging yourself with our scenic half marathon, you’ll enjoy traffic-free roads, incredible local support and a race day atmosphere unlike any other. We also offer a family route, making Hospice Run an event for all ages and abilities.

Every step you take helps us provide compassionate care and support for people living with a terminal illness, and those closest to them. We ask each runner to raise £100, helping us continue to deliver vital care across our community. To put that into perspective, if a team of five raises £150 each, they could fund our entire therapies team for a day.

By taking part in Hospice Run, you’re doing more than crossing a finish line. You’re helping local families access the care and support they need when it matters most.
