Hospice Run is a much-loved closed-road running event supporting Hospice in the Weald. Whether you’re taking on your first 10k or setting your new half marathon PB, Hospice Run promises to be a great community event for every runner. Choose between our 5k, 10k and Half Marathon routes.
Entry fees and fundraising from Hospice Run support Hospice in the Weald in caring for those with terminal illness and those closest to them.
We ask each runner to raise £100 for the Hospice. If you went above and beyond this and raised £155, this would fund a three-hour session of care for one child by two children’s healthcare assistants, offering fun and engaging activities for the child whilst offering valuable respite for carers. If a team of 5 raised £150 each, they could fund the cost of our entire therapies team for a day, offering physio, occupational therapy, group classes and securing vital equipment for patients to make life easier and more comfortable.
