Get to know your local Hospice

Nestled in Five Ashes, with a backdrop of the rolling East Sussex landscape, Cottage Hospice offers 24/7 end-of-life care to patients with non-complex needs as well as providing support for family and loved ones. We aim to make stays as comfortable as possible, encouraging patients and their families to bring whatever they want and need to make their space feel the way they want. Whether that means bringing, photos, plants, or pets there aren’t many restrictions (as long as it’s safe and fits through the doors).

What's in store?

  • Tours: Take a look around and gain unique insights into our services for patients and families.
  • Living Well: Living Well means something different to all of us. What does it mean to you and your patients? We offer a supportive space to do the things that matter most to people. • Enjoy yourself and relax: Grab a cuppa and get involved in some of our creative activities on offer, try your hand at Boccia or join one of our friendly seated exercise classes.
  • Planning Beyond Tomorrow: Beyond in-patient care, discover resources for planning, discussions on end-of-life matters, breaking the taboo.
  • Explore opportunities: Learn about careers, fundraising, and unwind with a coffee (or tea) in our charming cafe.
  • Get involved: Volunteer with us or help raise vital funds to support the work we do.
