From Colleagues to Community Champions

Corporate volunteering gives your team the chance to step outside the workplace, connect with one another in a new way and make a lasting difference to the lives of patients and families who rely on our care.

Whether you are looking for a one-off opportunity, a team-building activity, or a longer-term partnership, we would love to welcome you to take part in our fun, rewarding and unique volunteering experiences.

Why Volunteer With Us?

An opportunity to give back locally: Support patients and families right here in your community. Your involvement helps us provide care and comfort to those who need it most, close to home.

Team building with purpose: Step outside the office and strengthen relationships in a new way. Working together on meaningful projects boosts morale, builds stronger connections and leaves your team feeling proud of what they have achieved.

Unique and memorable experiences: From Christmas Tree Recycling to cheering on runners at our Hospice Run, you can take part in activities that go far beyond the everyday. These moments stay with you long after the volunteering day is over.

A positive impact that lasts: Every hour volunteered helps us deliver vital care and support. Whether it’s hands-on help or sharing professional skills, your contribution directly improves lives in our community.

Opportunities Throughout the Year

Event Support: Join the buzz at our Moonlight Walk, Open Gardens or Hospice Run. Whether you are marshalling, running stalls, setting up or cheering participants on, your energy and time makes these events unforgettable.

Christmas Tree Recycling: Kick off the New Year with one of our most popular volunteering events. Help us collect trees across the community and be part of this unique fundraising event!

Hospice Volunteering: Roll up your sleeves at Pembury or Five Ashes! From gardening and DIY to sharing professional skills by volunteering your time with either our Communications, Fundraising, or Finance team.

Workplace Challenges: Looking for a challenge? Why not rally your colleagues and participate in one of our fundraising events together! A great team building opportunity whilst being able to fundraise for the Hospice too.

Retail Volunteering: Get stuck in at our shops or warehouse. Sort and price donations, create eye-catching window displays or uncover hidden treasures while supporting vital hospice care.

Maximise Your Impact

Your volunteering can go even further. If your employer matches the hours you spend volunteering with a donation, the impact doubles. Time and funds work together to support even more patients and families.

Hospice in the Weald must raise £9 million each year to deliver essential services. With only 13 percent of our funding coming from statutory sources, we rely on the generosity of businesses, individuals, trusts and supporters like you to bridge the gap.

By combining your team’s time with matched giving, you are not just volunteering, you are helping secure the future of hospice care in our community.
