Having a child diagnosed with a serious or life limiting condition is devastating and coping with it can feel amongst other things isolating and overwhelming. Having counselling as a place to express what is going on for you can provide a vital outlet and source of support.

The relationship between a grandchild and a grandparent can be a very special one. Grandparents may also be involved supporting their own child, who is in turn caring for the child, so a different type of support may be needed for both. Counselling can help grandparents cope with their own feelings and experience.

Combined Sessions

During times of stress and difficulty, communication between family members can become overlooked or confused and people can feel misunderstood.

Counselling together as a family or in pairs can help bring some clarity, understanding and restore lost connections.
