A Welcome Comeback for Hospice Run

Hospice Runner pinning number to race top
Hospice in the Weald welcomed 669 runners back to the streets of Tunbridge Wells on Sunday 19th September.
Supporters took on the 5K and 10K routes, after a year’s break in 2020 due to COVID restrictions.

This is the first large-scale event the Hospice has held since COVID restrictions lifted, and Head of Fundraising, Louise Wardle explained:
“We were so delighted to have been able to bring our supporters together today and to be able to cheer them on. The Hospice remained open throughout the pandemic and we are so proud of our nurses for delivering outstanding care, no matter the circumstances. It is fundraising support like this that makes this possible, thank you to our runners and supporters, and thank you to Savills Tunbridge Wells for sponsoring the event.”

Supporters have raised over £65,000, with many runners taking part in memory of loved ones cared for by the Hospice.

Thank You!

Our thanks to everyone who got involved, by running, fundraising, clapping, cheering and volunteering to make the day a success.
