Following the success of our last Golf Day in 2019, we will be returning to Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club on Monday 25th October 2021. 12 teams of four will have the privilege of playing on the exquisite Old Course.
This year, the event will take on the format of our popular Chairman’s Golf Day historically hosted by Simon Lee, President, and former Chairman of Hospice in the Weald. Simon Lee will be joined by Hospice Chairman, Gary Withers and Hospice Patron and former England Cricket Captain, Chris Cowdrey.
Registration opens at 9am, with breakfast rolls and tea or coffee before a shot gun start at 10am. Following 18 holes on the stunning Old Course, teams will be welcomed back to the Clubhouse to change and enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the lounge. A three-course meal will be served with wine at 4.30pm. Complimentary refreshments will be available on course throughout play.
A live fundraising auction will follow the meal, alongside our prize giving and other fundraising activities. All proceeds from the event will go towards the £7 million it costs to run Hospice in the Weald each and every year, ensuring outstanding care and support to those with terminal illness and those closest to them.
