Our Christmas Market is back for 2024!

Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th November 2024

Our outside Christmas Market returns in the Hospice grounds, with more variety of craft and food stalls, than ever before!

We are providing stall holders with large marquees that will be festively decorated by our team of volunteers, and will include the beautiful touch of drapes to make them that even more special.

Wherever your stall is located within our event village, you can be assured that all guests will be provided with a map of all stalls and their locations upon arrival.  All areas will be easy to find with clear signage around the grounds.

Key Information

This year, again, our market will be held outside within the Hospice grounds, but there will be some craft and wreath making sessions in our Living Well areas inside.
- There will be more food stalls with more variety to suit the time of year.
- There will be activities for children to keep them amused whilst the grown ups shop!
- Marquees with drapes, festive decorations, and hard standing grounds
- No Friday night market
- The market will be entirely during daylight hours, therefore no light and heating will provided
- An event map will be provided to all guests upon arrival
- Father Christmas will be returning to his grotto for both days
- Singers and Choirs will help the visitors soak up that Christmas atmosphere whilst browsing the wide variety of stalls.

Information about having a stall:

Our popular annual Christmas market attracts arounds 2,000 visitors who come to enjoy a wide range of stall and attractions featuring independent stallholders selling high quality crafts, gifts and more.
  • Application for stalls will be accepted from 1st May 2024, subject to a £50 deposit paid and agreement to the terms and conditions provided. Final balances will need to be settled before 27th September 2024.
  • All Christmas Market pitches will be outdoor, all stalls will be undercover, either in a marquee or gazebo.
  • Christmas Market pitches are priced at £120 for a Marquee pitch, and £150 for a Gazebo pitch. You will be undercover, either in a marquee or gazebo, which you can specify on the form your preference. (although this cannot be guaranteed)
  • By purchasing a pitch, you are committing to attend both Saturday and Sunday. We are unable to offer one day spaces.
  • You can purchase an additional pitch next to your main pitch for an additional charge (limited spaces available)
  • A 6ft Table and 2 chairs can be provided if requested at time of booking or in writing ahead of 27th September.
  • All Marquee pitches are based on the size of one standard 6ft trestle table
  • All Gazebo pitches are based on a 3m x 3m pitch and stall holders are required to supply their own Gazebo which must not exceed 3m x 3m in size. Entrance to gazebo’s can only be guaranteed through one side.
  • To allow full use of the Hospice grounds more efficiently this year, there is no onsite parking for stall holders, once set up has been complete (please refer to T&Cs in booking form)
  • Electricity supply is extremely limited. You may submit a request for electricity but this will depend on the needs of all stall holders and will be assessed on a case by case basis. Electricity will be subject to an additional charge of £25 per stallholder if approved.
  • Please see further details in the booking request form. Please note, to make our market even more successful this year, we are making some changes to the Terms and Conditions from previous years, so we advise you to read through these thoroughly before sending in your booking request form.
