Light up a Life - 2 December 2017
We will be holding our annual service on Saturday 2nd December at 5.30pm at the Hospice in Pembury.
Christmas is a very special time of year at Hospice in the Weald as our community celebrates and remembers their loved ones. Our Light up a Life service includes the Hospice choir singing carols and some heart-warming readings before the lighting of our beautiful Christmas tree. We recommend that everyone who comes dresses up warm and brings a torch, as the service is held outside!
The service provides a way to join others, bringing comfort in remembering the lives of your loved ones and to reflect and share memories and light a candle for them. There is no need to book your place at the service, you can just turn up on the day. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our Moonlight Walks give family and friends an opportunity to remember their loved one by walking in memory of someone special. We hold our Moonlight Walks annually in the summer. Remembrance Gatherings and Summer Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving
Our Chaplain Liza Waller holds Remembrance Gatherings throughout the year at the Hospice, together with our annual Summer Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving at St Peter's Pembury.
