Hospice in the Home continues to care and always will
We caught up with Louise Buck, Head of Hospice in the Home to talk about how the service was coping and whether things had changed at all with the eases to lockdown.
The Hospice in the Home team see almost 400 patients each and every week between 24 nursing staff. People still require care and support in their own homes, perhaps now more than ever as the vulnerable shield. The team do carry out visits to people's homes where necessary but, are supporting patients and those important through remote means, whether that be regular telephone or video calls.
