We need to raise over £8 million every year to provide outstanding Hospice care to the local community. To get involved with our fundraising activities, design your own, or make a donation, use the information on this page.
Carols at Christmas are back and will be twice as much fun this year, with not only one, but two concerts! A new family service, starting at an earlier time of 2:30pm, along with our evening service, starting at 6:30pm.
Doors to this magical afternoon of Christmas entertainment opens at 2pm, and the service will begin at 2:30pm lasting approximately 1 hour.
We will hear songs from Hilden Grange primary school choir. We are also being supported by ” Once Upon a Wish” who will make this a memorable afternoon for all, with games, festive readings and lots of opportunities to sing along with familiar festive songs.
Ticket price:
Our traditional evening service returns to the Chapel of St Augustine with doors opening at 6pm, and the service beginning at 6:30pm.
You can look forward to an evening of seasonal, uplifting performances from soloist Jocelyn Coates, two local school choirs and musician Elizabeth Harris. There will be lots of opportunities to sing along with familiar carols and we will hear readings from people close to the Hospice including Flight Lieutenant Colin Bell a 102 year old World War Two Veteran.
For a little extra you can join the Hospice team at a special reception after the concert with mulled wine and mince pies.
Ticket costs:
The event will take place at the Chapel of St Augustine at Tonbridge School.
There is a limited amount of parking in the sports club, which is just a 10 minute walk from the chapel. Guests are encouraged to park in other local car parks and residential streets. We encourage the use of public transport or walking where possible. Other public car parks can be found in Tonbridge.
There is disabled parking available in The Quad car park to the right of the chapel. If you require disabled parking, please contact us at fundraising@hospiceintheweald.org.uk.
A drop off area will be available for those who might struggle with the distance of the main car park to the Chapel. If you would like to use this service, please contact us at fundraising@hospiceintheweald.org.uk
Your confirmation email serves as your ticket, no physical tickets will be sent.
There are toilets available to the left of the chapel and in the Orchard Centre.
