How can I access Creative Music?
Creative Music is based in our Hospice Day Service, but is available to all patients throughout the Hospice whether you are on the in-patient unit, an outpatient or a patient attending the Day Service. As soon as we know you are interested, our Creative Musician or Creative Music Volunteer will discuss with you what programmes are available and what you might like to do and achieve.
This can take many forms such as Song-writing, CD’s, DVD’s and more. A memory project is your legacy to be left to a loved one. We can help you through to its completion during one-to-one sessions.
Learning an Instrument
Whether you fancy singing, learning the guitar or learning the piano, our Creative Musician and Creative Music Volunteers will help you to build your musical skills in the instrument of your choice.
Music & Lyrics
Song-writing is a great way to release emotions into music and lyrics and can be a fun memory project if you want to leave a legacy for your loved ones. You do not need to be musical to write a song, the creative music team are there to give you assistance and advice; just pick a subject, an emotion or a special memory and watch it come to life.
