Creative Arts volunteers run art groups to teach you the skills for producing some truly beautiful art work. Taking part in these groups may help to boost your self-esteem, give you another topic of conversation and provide you with a sense of purpose and a focus, as well as promoting relaxation. It can also provide time to talk with your peers within the group.
Most patients who access these groups have never painted before, so don’t worry if you were told at school by your art teacher you’d never be Picasso, come and try a session.
