GENERAL INFORMATION

Applying for a course
Completed application forms should be sent to the Education Office, Hospice in the Weald, Maidstone Road, Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN2 4TA. Payment in full is required before the start of the course.
Places will be confirmed by letter.

Cancellations or non-attendance
A refund of course fees will be given if a cancellation is made up to four weeks prior to the course date. No refund will be made for cancellations after this date or for non-attendance.

Catering
Tea, coffee and biscuits will provided on all study days and courses. For full-day courses lunch is included in the course fee.

Library and information services
The Hospice has a library of books and journals relating to palliative care which may be used by course participants. In addition we have internet access and an information service where members of the public and professional staff can find information to help with all aspects of caring for a terminally ill patient.

Travel information
A map and travel information will be sent with course confirmation details.
Free parking is available at the Hospice.

Room hire
The Hospice in the Weald has a number of excellent training rooms and equipment which are available for hire. For further details contact the Education Office.

Teaching
Staff from the Hospice are willing to arrange teaching sessions at outside organisations. Please contact the Education Office for further information.

Tours
Tours of the Hospice can be arranged for small groups by appointment.
