We have Hospice in the Weald Link Groups
in many towns and villages in our catchment area. These
are groups of volunteers whose primary objective is
to raise funds to support the work of the Hospice.They
are under the leadership of a local organiser who works
with a committee of local people.
Link Groups share information about, and promote interest
in, the Hospice and its services to the community.
A Link Group can be of any size and events range from
coffee mornings to helping with collections at fetes
and fairs. Many groups also help place and service collecting
boxes in their community.
The groups are responsible for running their own events
and there is a backup service provided by the Hospice
for posters, tickets, collecting boxes etc. Hospice
trading goods can also be supplied for events and fetes.
