It costs £10 an hour to look after a patient in each of our beds. Not a lot for hospice care you might think, but with 24 hours in a day, this means £240 for each bed every day.

Is there a day (or days) in the year that is special to you, your family or organisation? If so, could you mark it by making a gift of hospice care to someone who needs it.

Your special day will be marked at the Hospice as your name will be added to our Bed Appeal Calendar displayed there.

Remember that £10 pays for an hour, £20 for two hours and so on up to £240 for 24 hours - or one day. Similarly a week would cost £1680.
