Hospice in the Weald provides high quality, specialist multi-professional care to individuals with advanced life threatening illnesses and those that matter to them. Our focus of care aims to enhance the quality of an individual’s life through consideration of physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs.
We firmly believe that in order to achieve this we need to support and encourage our staff to develop personally and professionally. This is achieved through formal and informal training. We offer staff the opportunity to study at diploma, degree or masters level which is coordinated through our education department and close links with universities.

For nursing staff we give 28 days annual leave and the opportunity to stay in the NHS pension scheme. For other staff we give 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. All employees are eligible to join a pension plan with employer contributions.  We offer free parking and subsidised dining facilities.

Hospice in the Weald is situated in Pembury, close to historic Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent, just 30 miles south of London.
