Music Therapy

In Music Therapy music-making forms the basis for communication. It is a way for patients to express their feelings, emotions and thoughts through music playing or listening. The session aims to help patients to relax, release any emotions within a safe and confidential environment, explore their creativity by playing instruments, use their voice and create songs which can be recorded on a CD for them to keep.

Music therapy is offered individually or in group sessions in a private soundproof room. It is about exploring sounds and no music skills are required by the patient.
