Home Care Volunteers play a particularly vital role in supporting patients and families at home. They are specially selected and trained and carry out small practical tasks, sit with a patient to allow respite for the carer or simply provide companionship and a friendly face.
The service is normally offered once a week and makes an immense difference to patients' and carers' lives.
