Acupuncture

This is the placing of sterile needles to affect energy points below the skin, and is part of traditional Chinese Medicine. The origin is at least 2,000 years ago. As well as the circulatory and nervous systems in the body, in Chinese medicine there is also a system of life force (energy) channels. The energy that moves along the channels is know as Chi. Acupuncture needles are placed along the channels in this system to help release the flow of Chi and restore balance in the body. This therapy is used for pain relief and symptom management
