Volunteer in one of our shops
Hospice in the Weald is about much more than a building; it’s about a philosophy of care. We provide this care for members of our community with all life limiting conditions, across a wide age range, and we couldn't do it without the work and commitment of our shop volunteers.
Volunteering in Hospice in the Weald shop is a valuable and rewarding way to support our work. It’s a great way to meet new people, make new friends, have fun, and to become a team in a charity that is rooted in our community. We are always looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours a week to help us in our 15 shops or as a drivers mate as part of our furniture delivery service.
Whatever your background – and however little or much time you can spare – there will be something to suit your interests:
- Eye for style? - Help to sort our donations and design our window displays!
- Love retail? - Prepare to price our stock and set our tills ringing!
- A ‘people person’? - Serving customers could be right up your street!
- Special interests? - Advise about books, restoring furniture, antiques or bridal wear!
