With its Roman origins, wealth of Georgian architecture and stunning setting, Bath is a fascinating city to visit and quite rightly designated a World Heritage site. The magnificent Abbey overlooks the famous Pump Room, Roman Baths and Spa. The River Avon has a commanding presence in the city and is crossed by the beautiful Pulteney Bridge, a short stroll away is the breathtaking architecture of the Circus and Royal Crescent. These features together with interesting museums and some of the finest shopping outside London makes Bath an excellent place for a day out. We arrive in the City around midday and enjoy a stay of around 4 – 4½ hours.
