It costs £5 million each every year to run Hospice in the Weald and 90 pence of each and every £1 we raise goes towards care.

These are some of the ways we spend the money we raise:

  • £300,000 to run our Day Therapy Centre for a year, attended by up to 100 patients every week
  • £190,000 per year to provide  tasty and nutritious meals to tempt patients who have little or no appetite
  • £95,000 for running a single bed on the In-Patient Unit for a year
  • £60,000 to run our Occupational Therapy team, helping to improve the quality of life for patients in their homes
  • £50,000 to provide specialist bandages and garments for  our Lymphoedema patients for a year
