Payroll Giving is one of the most tax efficient ways of making regular monthly donation to Hospice in the Weald. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.

Payroll Giving really does make a difference to us. The fact that we know how much and how often you will donate means we can budget effectively and plan ahead, and you will know that Hospice in the Weald is able to make the best use of your regular, tax-free donation.

The money you commit to Hospice in the Weald in this way will be automatically topped up by the tax man.

For example, if you pay the basic tax rate,

• A £5 donation will cost you £4
• A £10 donation will cost you £8
• A £20 donation will cost you £16

How to give through your payroll

Ask your HR department about your company’s payroll giving scheme.  By completing a standard form about your donation, the HR team will do the rest.  It is also worth asking your employer if they match their staff donations to charity.
