Working together, Changing lives
Our work with the corporate sector is very much based on a partnership approach and our aim is to ensure that we build mutually beneficial relationships. A partnership with Hospice in the Weald can create a unique opportunity to bring business benefits and enhance your company's profile within the local community.
As a long-established and well-respected charity, our strengths include:
-
A high profile presence in the West Kent and East Sussex area
- A caring charity that will touch the lives of many in the local community
- A well-known training provider, particularly amongst the medical profession
- A full and varied events calendar, attracting thousands of people throughout the year
- Volunteer link groups who run their own events in their locality, building awareness for the Hospice at all levels
For corporate partners, the benefits that a relationship with Hospice in the Weald will bring, include:
-
An enhanced ‘brand' or ‘corporate' image for your company
- A high level of exposure of your organisation to the community
- An opportunity to show good corporate citizenship
- A chance for your employees to get involved, raising morale and supporting their own development
- A chance to make a difference and help others
Adopt us as your charity of the year
An opportunity to develop a mutually beneficial partnership that provides a team building opportunity, offers staff learning and skills development and enhances your company's image to all your stakeholders and our supporters.
Staff fundraising
Why not hold an event, undertake a unique challenge or enter a team competition. This can be a fun way of developing staff motivation, loyalty and team spirit.
Secondment and volunteering
We can offer opportunities for secondment or volunteering, which can be fun, will enable your staff to develop current skills and learn new ones.
Gifts in kind
There are many ways in which you could provide gifts in kind. You could donate goods to one of our 15 retail outlets or donate an auction or a raffle prize.

Sponsorship
We have a full events calendar every year, to which your organisation can become sponsors. There are opportunities to sponsor events, include your company's logo in programmes, or sponsor our newsletter. This will help to raise your company's profile in close association with the Hospice's own initiatives.
Share giving
This is a cost effective, tax efficient way of supporting our charity. Share giving does not attract capital gains tax, and reduces our taxable income by the full market value of the shares.
Payroll giving
This is a great way for individuals within your organisation to support our Hospice through regular contributions via their payroll. Your payroll giving donations are deducted before tax and this is automatically increased by reclaimed tax at no cost to you. It also takes the worry out of remembering to give regularly or setting up a direct debit on your account.
Recycling
Talk to us about how your old ink cartridges can be converted to cash. Thousands of pounds which could be generated from recycling are thrown away every year.
Training and conference facilities
Many companies find they simply don't have the space to hold in-house training or conferences. With space being expensive to rent or buy, why not look at the most cost effective option? Let us host your training at our top of the range training suite, ensuring you exceptional quality and service and the opportunity to support your local charity.
