The Hospice Education, Learning and Development Centre aims to provide the highest possible evidence-based palliative care education. The Centre provides Education, Learning and Development (ELD) events for staff and volunteers working at the Hospice, and delivers a programme of courses and study days for external applicants. Any members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) working in health and social care are welcome to attend our courses and study days. Our courses and study days are suitable for staff working in the community setting, within patient’s homes, residential or nursing homes, community hospitals, and acute care whether providing generic or end of life care.
