Working for us
Our Hospice provides compassionate, holistic and supportive care for all patients with life-limiting illnesses, their carers and families. In our care we aim to enhance the quality of an individual’s life through consideration of physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs.
In order to achieve our mission we need to support and encourage our staff to develop both personally and professionally. We do this through the provision of in-house training and relevant external courses including study at diploma, degree or masters levels. This is co-ordinated through our Education, Learning and Development Centre and close links with universities and other training providers.
We actively promote equality of opportunity for all and we value diversity.
Other staff benefits include 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, a pension plan with employer contributions, (eligible members have an option to remain in the NHS pension scheme), free parking and a subsidised restaurant.
Hospice in the Weald is situated in Pembury, close to historic Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent, just 30 miles south of London.
